Motion 07112007-1: Motion made by Earl Johnson, seconded by James Wettlaufer to accept the minutes of June 27, 2007 as read, all in favor.
Hope Martel had an appointment and was granted the floor at the start of the meeting. Hope expressed concern over the absence of a commercial trash bucket at Siog beach. The select board has agreed to check with Allied Waste about having a trash container left at the beach for the remainder of this summer.
Selectboard appointed Howard Fife as Clerk Assistant to the Conservation Committee, term to expire June 30, 2008.
Selectboard appointed Valerie Ebersold and Dawn Cass Evans to the Memorial Day Committee, terms to expire June 30, 2008.
Selectboard appointed Tim Harrison as Town Accountant, term to expire June 30, 2010.
Proposal for study of a Wales – Holland elementary regional school required a correction. Correct copy approved by board and signed by Jim Wettlaufer.
Mass Tourism grant availability discussed. Follow up requested.
Subordination contracts for Housing development signed.
MIIA Health Benefits Trust rates discussed.
Warrants were signed and delivered to the Treasurer.
